Notifications and app

So you don't miss anything — without your phone buzzing all day.

Push notifications

Under Settings → Notifications → Push notifications you choose what notifies you: mentions, replies, reactions, direct messages or all channel messages.

Emails

Under Email notifications (everything starts on):

  • invites and approvals
  • direct messages
  • event reminders and recaps
  • community posts, as a daily digest or every post
  • for admins: join requests and new members

Every email also has a one-click unsubscribe link.

Fewer notifications

  • Mute community: in the community menu.
  • Single spaces: in the space's menu, choose all messages, mentions only or none, or mute the space.
  • Single conversations: in direct messages, from the conversation menu.

Install as an app

Nori runs in the browser, on phone and computer alike. If your browser offers it, Settings → Install app puts Nori on your home screen like an app. On iPhone, use Safari's Share → Add to Home Screen.

Language

Under Settings → Language choose English or German, or Automatic. It also applies to emails.
