FAQ

Short answers to what hosts and members ask most.

What does Nori cost?

Nori is free right now. We're looking for hosts for the pilot — write to info@nori.club.

Do my guests need an app?

No. Everything runs in the browser. Guests sign up with their email, no password. If they want, they can add Nori to their home screen like an app.

What's the difference between a guest and a member?

Guests sign up for single events. Members belong to the community and see chat, posts, classifieds and the member directory. Most people become members at their first check-in.

What's a stamp?

Every check-in at a meetup leaves a stamp in your pass. Stamps show where you've really been — and that the people in a community know each other in person.

Who sees my email address?

By default only the admins of your communities and the hosts of events you sign up for. You can change that in your profile.

Can I have chapters in several cities?

Yes. Create a group per city, with its own calendar, chat and leads.

Can I keep my WhatsApp or Telegram group?

Yes. Many hosts use Nori for dates, sign-ups and check-in and keep their chat. Over time the conversation often moves over on its own.

Are there capacity limits and waitlists?

Not yet. Until then, switch on Approve sign-ups and decide yourself who gets in.

Can I sell tickets?

Not yet. Paid tickets are planned.

Where can I see Nori in action?

demo.nori.club has a fictional network of regulars' tables with events, chat and classifieds. Everyone there is made up.
